About The Position
Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a caring and motivated Respiratory Therapist for its West Palm Beach location. The role provides respiratory care to patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions, with a focus on compassionate, community-based hospice care.
Requirements
- Florida license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Complete biannual continuing education units (CEUs) as required by the Florida Board of Licensure.
- Valid Florida driver's license and adequate, reliable transportation with adequate insurance.
Responsibilities
- Assess, evaluate, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and airway management treatments.
- Operate and maintain ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP devices, and other respiratory care equipment.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and make recommendations for care plan modifications.
