About The Position
Under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Services Medical Director and Department Director, the RCP is responsible for providing Respiratory Care Services within specific physician's orders, department policies, and procedures. Responsible for providing specialized respiratory assessment and care commensurate with training, experience, and competence to patients with respiratory disorders. Respiratory Care Therapists recommend treatment plans and implement care as directed by the patient's attending physician and hospital protocol.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
- NBRC certified Respiratory Technician or NBRC Registered Therapist licensed.
Responsibilities
- Providing Respiratory Care Services within specific physician's orders, department policies, and procedures.
- Providing specialized respiratory assessment and care commensurate with training, experience, and competence to patients with respiratory disorders.
- Recommending treatment plans and implementing care as directed by the patient's attending physician and hospital protocol.
