About The Position
Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab is seeking a motivated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care to residents at its facility in Daytona Beach, Florida. The therapist will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment alongside other healthcare professionals, developing and implementing individualized care plans and supporting effective treatment outcomes. The role involves working with respiratory equipment and conducting pulmonary function tests. Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care for patients with respiratory conditions, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol treatments.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and bronchial provocation tests, to assess respiratory function.
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans in coordination with other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and nebulizers.
- Perform routine respiratory equipment checks and maintenance to ensure proper function and safety.
