About The Position
A community-focused healthcare organization in eastern Oregon is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join its critical access hospital team in a scenic rural mountain valley setting. The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive cardiopulmonary care including diagnostic testing, ventilator management, and emergency respiratory support across inpatient, emergency, and neonatal settings while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
Requirements
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential through the NBRC
- Associate degree from a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program
- Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) credential
- Strong clinical skills in ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and pulmonary diagnostics
- Ability to respond effectively in high-acuity and emergency situations, including deliveries and C-sections
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiopulmonary care including diagnostic testing, ventilator management, and emergency respiratory support across inpatient, emergency, and neonatal settings.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Commitment to infection control, patient safety, and accurate clinical documentation.
