About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience and the ability to work independently while providing high-quality respiratory care to patients.

Requirements

• Associate Degree (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy
• Active New York State Respiratory Therapist license/registration
• Minimum 2 years of acute care clinical experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass pre-employment health screening

Responsibilities

• Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapies
• Initiate and monitor oxygen therapy
• Assist physicians with ventilator management and respiratory support
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) when required
• Conduct pulmonary function tests
• Perform radial arterial punctures
• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care with minimal supervision
