Requirements
- Associate’s degree in respiratory care
- Illinois RT license (or within 6 months)
- CRT (NBRC)
- BLS (AHA)
- NRP & PALS within 90 days (effective July 1, 2025)
- 3 years of previous job-related experience (for RT 3)
Nice To Haves
- ACLS
- NPS and/or ACCS credentials
- Bachelor's degree
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through NBRC (for RT 3)
Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
- Administer treatments, manage ventilators, and perform diagnostics
- Follow evidence-based protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Serve as a lead/charge therapist, guiding workflow and supporting team members
