About The Position

This role involves assessing patient needs to develop and implement precise respiratory care plans based on specific diagnoses. The Respiratory Therapist will expertly manage and monitor high-level respiratory equipment and treatments, adjusting protocols based on patient outcomes. They will act as a core member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing life-saving intervention during critical codes. Additionally, the role requires vigilant monitoring and documentation of patient conditions, ensuring the medical team is informed of real-time changes, and empowering families with the knowledge to manage health conditions and connect them with vital community support resources.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
