About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist will specialize in applying scientific knowledge and theory to practical clinical problems of respiratory care. This role assumes primary clinical responsibility for all respiratory care modalities specific to the clinical area, including supervision of students in respiratory care programs. The therapist may exercise considerable independent clinical judgment in patient respiratory care under the direct or indirect supervision of a physician.

Requirements

• Graduation from a CoARC accredited program in respiratory care with an associate's degree.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Licensed by the State of New York.
• BLS/CPR Certification within orientation period.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree desirable.

Responsibilities
