About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist provides quality care as a member of the Respiratory Team in a skilled nursing facility. The role develops and ensures that the resident care plan is followed in collaboration with the Director of Respiratory, physicians, nurses, other therapists, and nursing assistants. This is a full-time opportunity in Akron, Ohio, with shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is paid quarterly over one year; program details may vary by facility.

Requirements

Hold a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
Have at least an associate degree from an accredited college or university, or graduate from an approved respiratory program.
Maintain current BLS certification.
Possess basic computer skills and the ability to navigate software programs, including the electronic health record.
