The Respiratory Therapist is accountable for the operation of the respiratory service and provides effective, safe and accurate treatment of patients with respiratory and cardiac problems. Requirements
- Respiratory Therapy diploma (RT)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Basic - Teaching skills
- Advanced - Verbal communication skills
- Advanced - Writing skills
- Intermediate - Interpersonal skills
- Ability to be self motivated
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to utilize specific program equipment
- Registered/eligible with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapist (CSRT)

- Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
