About The Position

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The therapist sets up prescribed respiratory equipment promptly after receiving physicians’ orders. Experience with ventilator management is needed. The role includes delivering and setting up equipment in hospital and home settings, instructing patients on equipment use and safety, and providing follow-up care.

Requirements

• Experience providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting.
• Experience with ventilator management.
• Clean driving record.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• At least 21 years old to be covered by company auto insurance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Active RRT or CRT license.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver respiratory equipment, including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs, in hospital and home settings.
• Complete delivery and pick-up paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Instruct patients on the proper use, maintenance, and safety of their medical equipment.
• Make follow-up phone calls to patients after respiratory equipment is set up.
• Provide follow-up care in the home setting as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
