About The Position

Provide respiratory care to residents in skilled nursing facilities, following clinical guidelines and working closely with physicians and care teams to deliver high-quality treatment. The role involves developing and implementing treatment plans, administering respiratory therapies, monitoring patient responses, and contributing to discharge planning. Rates are up to $49.00 based on experience and schedule. Flexible shifts are available, including full-time, part-time, and PRN.

Requirements

• Graduate of an NBRC-accredited program.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Valid Ohio license.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• At least 1 year of experience.

Nice To Haves

• Long-term care experience.
• Ventilator experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement respiratory therapy treatment plans.
• Administer inhalants, operate ventilators, and manage therapeutic gas systems.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as needed.
• Perform bronchopulmonary drainage and assist with breathing exercises.
• Collaborate on discharge planning with physicians, nurses, and social workers.
