About The Position
Join us at Special Tree, one of the nation’s leading providers of rehabilitation for brain injury, spinal cord injury, and neurological recovery. Celebrating 50 years of innovation, we are Michigan’s first pioneer in neuro-rehabilitation. On our serene wooded NeuroCare Campus, you’ll be part of a collaborative team making a real difference every day. This is a Temporary / Per Diem position with Day shift (7:00 am-7:15 pm) and Night shift (7:00 pm-7:15 am) available. The pay rate is $37.25/hour.
Requirements
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist or Certified by the American Association of Respiratory Care or National Board of Respiratory Care with comparable experience in respiratory care.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Michigan.
- Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of experience in a critical care, ICU setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding, compassionate care every day.
- Provide evaluation, treatment, monitoring, testing, and mechanical ventilation.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment.
- Educate clients and families on respiratory care programs.
- Document progress and coordinate with nursing services.
- Act independently and exercise sound clinical judgment.
