Respiratory Therapist (RT)
About The Position
Provide specialized airway and breathing care across five ICUs: Cardiovascular, Coronary, Medical-Respiratory, Neurological, and Surgical. Perform arterial line placement, conduct esophageal balloon placement and monitoring, and utilize advanced ventilation modes, including NAVA. Administer inhaled pulmonary vasodilators, support hyperbaric medicine, and engage in cutting-edge therapies and complex patient care. Manage ventilators, perform therapeutic procedures, administer medications, and educate patients and families. Collaborate across care teams to ensure safe, quality outcomes and mentor new teammates and students.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program (associate degree minimum)
- WI Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- RRT within 12 months or CRT if credentialed prior to Jan 1, 2023
- BLS certification (AHA) and ACLS Certification
