About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking dedicated Respiratory Therapists (RRT or CRT) to join a high-acuity acute care hospital environment in Gainesville, Florida. Requirements

Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred
Experience considered from ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, or other critical care settings
Home care and long-term care experience will also be considered
CRT candidates are welcome to apply
Active Florida Respiratory Therapy License
NBRC Credential (RRT or CRT)
BLS (AHA) required
ACLS, PALS, and NRP must be obtained within 30 days of start date

Responsibilities

Provide routine and advanced respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management
Set up, operate, and maintain invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation equipment
Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis
Monitor patient response to therapies and medications, reporting outcomes and side effects
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, patients, and families
Educate patients, families, and clinical staff as appropriate
Identify and report patient safety concerns in accordance with policy
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Comply with all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards
