About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) to provide high-quality respiratory care across inpatient units, including critical care and cardiovascular populations . This role supports patients requiring both invasive and non-invasive ventilation and works collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams. New Graduate Friendly: Candidates who have recently passed the NBRC RRT boards or are awaiting official licensure are encouraged to apply. CRT-only experience does not qualify.

Requirements

NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required (CRT experience does not qualify)
Florida RRT license (active or pending for recent graduates)
Associate Degree from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program
BLS required within 30 days of hire
ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

Perform and document comprehensive respiratory assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressures
Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory therapy needs and treatment effectiveness
Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy
Assist with artificial airway placement and ongoing airway management
Initiate, monitor, and manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
Monitor patient responses and intervene appropriately during adverse events
Assist with transport of ventilator-dependent patients
Respond to emergency situations and participate in resuscitation efforts
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
