About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) to join a high-acuity, multi-campus acute care environment serving the Ocala, Florida region. This role provides exposure to trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, and emergency services , offering an excellent opportunity for respiratory therapists to expand and advance their acute care expertise. Both RRT and qualified CRT candidates will be considered.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent or current acute care respiratory therapy experience
• CRT candidates will be considered
• Active Florida Respiratory Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care services to patients across all age groups
• Set up, administer, and monitor routine and advanced respiratory therapy treatments
• Operate and manage acute care ventilators for short- and long-term mechanical ventilation
• Assess patient respiratory status and modify therapy based on clinical response
• Accurately document care and assessments in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Function independently during off-shift hours while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Adhere to clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements
