About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join their team at Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas in Mandan, ND. This 41-bed Critical Care Hospital provides long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, often requiring critical care for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. The hospital offers a fast-paced and friendly work environment where employees can get to know their patients and their families. The role comes with a $10K Sign-On Bonus and welcomes new graduates. Full-time employees are eligible for a new Clinical Career Ladder, offering pay increases upon successful completion of Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert Levels.

Requirements

Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program
Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment
Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor
ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire
Ability to project a professional image
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions
Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace

Nice To Haves

One (1) year critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience

Responsibilities

Providing efficient, quality-oriented patient care within the scope of the department's policy/procedure manual
Performing support activities such as equipment maintenance, changes, and inventory
Setting up and operating various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness
