About The Position
Under minimal direction, the Registered Respiratory Therapist implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders. This role participates in the education of patients, students, staff, and physicians, provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care, and assists with general department functions.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Respiratory Therapist License - State of Michigan Upon Hire
- Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or American Red Cross Upon Hire
Responsibilities

- Participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians.
