About The Position

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa, opening February 2025, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist PRN to join their team. The role involves working in a new hospital equipped with 60 private patient rooms and two rehab therapy gyms featuring cutting-edge technology. The position is responsible for administering safe and competent respiratory care as ordered by a physician, monitoring mechanical ventilation, administering medications, patient assessment, understanding the ramifications of hemodynamic monitoring and blood work results, and providing monitoring, teaching, and training.

Requirements

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist for state licensure agency
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
