About The Position

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa, opening February 2025, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist PRN to join their team. The role involves working in a new, state-of-the-art hospital featuring 60 private patient rooms and two advanced rehab therapy gyms. The position is responsible for administering respiratory care as ordered by physicians, monitoring mechanical ventilation, administering medications, performing patient assessments, understanding hemodynamic monitoring, interpreting blood work, and providing patient education and training.

Requirements

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist for state licensure agency
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
