About The Position
This position specializes in the advanced care of patients undergoing interventional bronchoscopy and pleural procedures. The Respiratory Therapist will assist physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases and defects of the airway and pleural space in the Bronchoscopy/Interventional Pulmonology Lab. This role also supports the development of other staff and formal learners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Respiratory Care
- 5 years of progressive work experience in respiratory care
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care as an RRT Upon Hire
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners as a Respiratory Care Professional Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
- ACLS Upon Hire
Responsibilities
