About The Position

Sentara Health is currently recruiting for a Full Time, Day shift Registered Respiratory Therapist to work at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA. This position offers up to $20,000 Sign On Bonus for Full Time Qualified Candidates and up to $10,000 Sign On Bonus for Part Time Qualified Candidates. Experienced and New Graduates May Qualify. Relocation, Moving Allowance and Housing Allowance are available to candidates outside of the geographic area. Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is a Certified Primary Stroke Center with 145 licensed beds, featuring the latest healthcare technologies. It serves the region with life-saving capabilities, offering a full range of medical care from emergency heart catheterization to all-inclusive obstetrics care. The hospital also provides advanced imaging and “smart” operating rooms and has achieved Magnet® recognition.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree required. Non degreed applicants with RRT credentials prior to January 1, 2006 and graduates from a military RT program with RRT credentials will also be considered.
  • State Respiratory license
  • NBRC RRT
  • BLS required at time of hire.
  • For new graduates only, must have State license and BLS at time of hire, and must obtain NBRC RRT within 6 months of hire date.
  • None required (experience)

  • 1 year Respiratory Care experience preferred
