About The Position

Performs Respiratory Therapy procedures including assessment, planning and implementation of therapy on the routine patient care floors and critical care areas. Performs emergent endotracheal intubations. Provides patient/family education related to respiratory therapy and airway management procedures. Serves as a resource for new technologies that have been implemented. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of RT or designee.

Requirements

• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Care Program.
• Licensed by the State of SC as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist with 3 years’ experience and competency in all areas of adult care.
• BLS certified.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within 1 year of hire.
