Respiratory Therapist-Clinician
About The Position
Norco is seeking a Respiratory Therapist/Clinician to evaluate, order, and set up Category II and III equipment, including rehabilitation services, as directed. The role works with patients, physicians, therapists, insurance companies, and referral sources to optimize clients’ equipment needs. Evaluations may take place in homes, clinics, nursing facilities, and hospitals. The position also provides sales support and product demonstrations to the healthcare community, monitors the Quality Improvement Program, troubleshoots oxygen and respiratory equipment during business hours and, when needed, after regular business hours, on weekends, and on holidays, and markets Norco services to referral sources. Other tasks may be assigned or necessary. Compensation is $35–$40 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
Requirements
- CRTT, RRT, RN, LPN, RPSGT, or eligibility for any of these credentials.
- State license, as required.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a caring, personable manner.
- Excellent public relations and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 25–40 pounds occasionally.
- Previous home care experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
