About The Position

Respiratory Therapy consists of state licensed, professionally trained respiratory care practitioners and therapists. Our team is there to assess the needs of patients and provide therapies to help speed the healing and recovery to return to the highest possible level of cardiopulmonary health as quickly as possible. We are looking for compassionate individuals with critical thinking skills to quickly solve problems and work along side our amazing team!

Requirements

• Licensed as an RCP in Missouri.
• AHA PALS Provider within 365 days
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Learner
• AHA ACLS within 180 days.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.

Nice To Haves

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to department director and supervisor with operation of the west campus RT department.
• Responsible for the shift to shift supervision, guidance, and leadership of WC staff.
• Delivers critical care, routine therapy and diagnostic testing as directed by a Physician.
• Works independently within protocol and medical staff guidelines.
• Acts as resource for Respiratory Therapists in the NICU, East Campus, and Freeman Neosho.
