Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in inventory management preferred but willing to train candidate that possess the necessary skills to learn
Responsibilities
- Provides support to the Respiratory Therapist by cleaning, disinfecting non-disposable respiratory therapy equipment.
- Responsible for ordering, stocking and maintaining disposable respiratory equipment and oxygen cylinders throughout the hospital.
- Disassembles, cleans, decontaminates and reassembles all Respiratory Therapy equipment according to department policy and procedure, and if damaged, brings to the attention of a supervisor.
- Responsible for stocking and maintaining adequate supply of oxygen cylinders throughout the hospital.
- Requisitions all departmental inventory as needed and stocks appropriately in the department and in various locations throughout the hospital.
- Responsible for stocking and maintaining airway management boxes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned, such as cleaning and maintaining department in excess of cleaning performed by Housekeeping department.
