We’re looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our dedicated team at Central Louisiana Supports and Services Center (CLSSC) —a facility committed to providing active treatment and healthcare services to individuals with intellectual, developmental, and orthopedic disabilities in the least restrictive environment. As a Respiratory Therapist at CLSSC, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the respiratory health and overall well-being of our residents, helping them participate more fully in daily life and work toward greater independence. This position involves close collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans that promote safety, comfort, and improved quality of life. Requirements

• Possession of a current Louisiana Respiratory Therapist license
• Accreditation with the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• One year of experience as a licensed registered respiratory therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive respiratory therapy services for the treatment and remediation of cardiopulmonary function and diseases for the residents at the Central Louisiana Supports and Services Center.
• Works with allied health team coordinating and implementing an overall resident care strategy and treatment plan and modify treatment plans when necessary.
• Facilitates the administration of specialized oral hygiene with the intent of improving oral cavity microbiome.
