About The Position

Cleans, maintains and repairs respiratory care equipment after discontinuation. This is a full-time position with guaranteed 40 hours a week, including alternating weekends. Holidays are optional. The schedule will vary between the hours of 10 PM to 6 AM. The Respiratory Care Tech must collaborate with the part-time tech to ensure coverage.

Responsibilities

Cleans, maintains and repairs respiratory care equipment after discontinuation.
Restocks supplies, retrieves equipment and re-processes equipment as necessary.
Assists with gas cylinder inventory control and ordering.
Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Cleans and re-equips/tests ventilators and other respiratory related equipment.
