The Respiratory Care Program Faculty / Clinical Coordinator is responsible for leading lecture classes and hands-on positioning labs and administering the student’s clinical experience with the program’s clinical sites. This position assists in the learning process of students by understanding how students develop and learn, how they are motivated and the effects of peer interactions on learning; by knowing his/her discipline and how to help students know the discipline; by learning what is new in the discipline, and what is newly available through technology and changing pedagogical methods; by thinking of teaching as helping others; by being a student of society and the worlds in which students live. This is a 12-month teaching faculty position with a 40 Instructor Credit Hour (ICH) workload that includes both teaching and clinical coordination responsibilities. For accreditation purposes, this position fulfills the role of Director of Clinical Education, as defined by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). This position is based in Bethlehem, PA.
