Requirements

• Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy, or equivalent education/ experience.
• Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Respiratory Care Services in accordance with departmental standards, policies and protocols.
• Must be able to readily adapt to a variety of responsibilities.
• Competent in the interpretation of a patient's self-report or behavior, and this information must be interpreted with an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial and chronological maturation process.
• Treatment of patients should be individualized and should reflect an understanding of the developmental needs and range of treatment needs for each patient.
