Requirements

• Sufficient for license/registration.
• California Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - National Board for Respiratory Care (for all therapists).
• 1 year experience following RCP licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assesses need, administers, and evaluates response to respiratory care procedures such as oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, hyperinflation therapy, and bronchial hygiene therapies.
• Provides mechanical ventilatory support and CPR.
• Assists physicians with bronchoscopies.
• Performs arterial and venous blood draws, operates ABG machines, and performs EKG's and pulmonary function screenings.
