About The Position

Plans, prepares, and delivers a broad range of respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies. Documents respiratory care on appropriate records; inspects, tests, maintains, and operates respiratory care equipment; and completes patient billing. This is a full-time, day-shift position with Covenant Children's Hospital (Methodist Children's Hospital), where caregivers provide patient-focused, whole-person care built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.

Requirements

• Associate's degree from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program; alternatively, a bachelor's degree from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program and one year of experience.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider PALS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license upon hire if practicing in Texas.
• One year of experience; the clinical portion of a training program may count.
