About The Position

Under direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, and as directed by physician, provide for excellent patient care through the assessment of patients’ cardio-pulmonary status, by set up and operation of various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness and by interdisciplinary team member collaboration. Requirements

Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
1-2 years of experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in an Acute Care Hospital setting preferred
Valid California Respiratory Care Practitioner License
RRT and CRT Licensure required for employees hired 11/01/19 or later
NRP, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required from the American Heart Association
Annual AB 508 Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer into the department and maintained by renewal before expiration date

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy preferred
