About The Position

Under supervision, the Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients at Providence Centralia Hospital as prescribed by physicians in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines. The role involves assessing the patient's respiratory status, recommending appropriate therapies, implementing therapies, and evaluating patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory Therapist is expected to embrace professional development and actively collaborate with the healthcare team to customize, coordinate, and communicate the patient's plan of care. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree - Respiratory Care or equivalent education/experience.
  • Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Provider PALS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year - clinical experience as Respiratory Therapist.
