Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Completion of the required education or training necessary to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements.
  • Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
  • Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), or other critical care environment.
  • Experience caring for pediatric patients requiring advanced respiratory support, including mechanical ventilation.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Experience with advanced respiratory therapy equipment and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
