About The Position
The Respiratory Care Practitioner II (“RCP II”) is responsible for providing safe, quality respiratory patient care and teaching to patients and families. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with the health care team, participation in on-going feedback regarding performance improvement, and implementation of clinical pathway/plan of care to guide patient care delivery.
Requirements
- Current CA RCP License
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS
- Current ACLS
Nice To Haves
- Current PALS, within ninety (90) days of hire
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in Adult General Care areas (Telemetry and Med-Surge).
- Demonstrate proficiency in Critical Care Areas (Intensive Care Unit and Cardiovascular Unit).
- Demonstrate proficiency in Emergency Room care.
