About The Position

Work Schedule: This is a full time position scheduled to work Monday through Friday during core business hours at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This position requires administrator on call coverage for the department on some weekends and holidays. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Health Care Administration or Business Administration Required
  • 6 years relevant health care experience Required
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Upon Hire Required
  • Current BLS/CPR certification Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Health Care Administration or Business Administration Preferred
  • 6 years relevant health care experience in an academic medical center Preferred
  • Current ACLS and/or PALS certification Preferred
  • National certification in relevant specialty (such as ACCS, NPS and/or RPFT) Preferred
