About The Position

The Goddard School® located in Doylestown on Farm Lane is seeking motivated and caring Resource Teachers for both part-time and full-time positions. Requirements

Shows empathy and compassion for young children
Dependable, adaptable and enjoys working as part of a team toward a common goal
Must be willing to work in all age groups from Infants through Kindergarten
High school diploma required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children, including properly lifting infants into and out of a crib

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with young children preferred but not required
college enrollment or degree in Early Childhood Education a plus

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
Support each child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
Build positive and effective relationships with families
Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and faculty across all age groups, from Infants through Kindergarten
Adhere to health and safety guidelines
Support routine childcare tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment
