About The Position
This is a 50% contract Resource Specialist Teacher position in Special Education at Jefferson Elementary School for the 2026/27 school year. The vacancy is limited to current employees of the school district; applications from people who are not currently district employees will not be considered. Substitutes may apply. Applicants must possess or be eligible for an appropriate California public school teaching credential in Special Education. Applicants who do not have a current, valid credential must attach a Plan to Complete form. Applicants must electronically submit a current Edjoin application, a Philosophy of Education Statement, three letters of recommendation dated within 18 months of application, a current resume, copies of credentials and required supporting documents, and English Learner authorization. Cell phone-photo copies of documents are not accepted.
Requirements
- Must possess or be eligible for an appropriate California public school teaching credential in Special Education.
- Applicants without a current, valid credential must attach a Plan to Complete form.
- Submit a current online Edjoin application, Philosophy of Education Statement, three letters of recommendation dated within 18 months of application, current resume, copy of valid California public school credentials, copy of CTC Certificate of Clearance, copy of transcripts (unofficial transcripts accepted for application purposes), evidence of subject matter competence (MSAT, CSET, SSAT, PRAXIS, or other documentation), and English Learner Authorization (CLAD or authorization embedded in credential).
