This position provides services in a culturally appropriate, holistic manner within the parameters provided by the BC Child, Family and Community Services Act, AOPPSI, and Xyolhemeylh Policy and Procedure Manual. Lets'emót – to be of one heart and one mind. The position is an 18-month term located in Abbotsford, BC, within the Out of Care Team. The salary ranges from $69,762.65 to $89,270.82 per annum for a 35-hour work week, with an Earned Day Off (EDO) available on Friday of Week 2. Applicants may be subject to a wage growth series within the Indigenous Delegated Social Worker Progression (IDSWP) as outlined in the Collective Agreements’ Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) – Appendix B, MOU 22. Those placed on the IDSWP growth series will not be eligible for the temporary market adjustment until they reach full working level Grid 24, Step 1. The length of this term is dependent on the return of the incumbent.
