The analyst will perform economic modeling of alternative supply plans and resources, incorporating various scenarios and risks such as fuel prices, market prices, reliability, and environmental requirements. Collaboration with various internal Xcel groups like Forecasting, Risk Management, and Supply is crucial to integrate short-term and long-range considerations into the resource plans. The position also involves designing and executing solicitations for new resources and evaluating offers using quantitative tools, recommending the best options to senior executives.
