About The Position

RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a Resource Planner, Acquisition, and Strategic Analyst in Stennis, Mississippi. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance
  • Valid driver’s license and obtain/maintain any required certifications

  • Ten (10) years’ experience as active-duty service member in at least one of the following specialties: U.S. Navy SEAL, Special Warfare Combatant Crewman (SWCC), U.S. Army Special Forces, Ranger, or U.S. Marine Corps Infantry or MARSOC, Coast Guard Maritime Security Response Team, or U.S. Air Force Special Warfare Operator
  • Ten years of relevant experience in special operations, acquisition, or program analysis
  • Four years’ experience as a U.S. Navy Enlisted Qualification (NEC 805A) Instructor or service/agency equivalent
  • U.S. Navy Master Training Specialist (MTS) certification or another service/agency equivalent
  • Experience with riverine/coastal craft, unmanned systems (UxS), or maritime platforms preferred
  • Shall be fluent in English; ability to also speak fluently in Spanish and/or French is preferred
  • Five years’ collective experience working with/implementing the following Naval Instructions in their respective course: OPNAVINST 5100.19 Series, Safety Precautions for Forces Afloat; OPNAVINST 3500.39 Series, Operational Risk Management; OPNAVINST 4790.4 Maintenance and Material Management (3-M) Manual; and OPNAVINST 5530.13C Arms, Ammunition and Explosives Physical Security
  • Five years’ experience in logistics and maintenance support of various U.S. Navy maritime systems, watercraft, and equipment
  • Proven ability to manage and align Program Objective Memorandum (POM) cycles, budget tracking, and financial resource planning in support of command goals
  • Familiarity acquisition policies and strategic investment planning
  • Demonstrated ability to produce executive level strategic assessments, funding profiles, justification papers, and key performance indicator dashboards using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to maintain Level 1 Fitness Standard

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish required for some roles
  • Experience with riverine/coastal craft, unmanned systems (UxS), or maritime platforms preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic planning and long‑range resourcing strategies
  • Help develop requirements for training systems, including riverine/coastal craft, unmanned systems, and simulators
  • Assist with coordinating with program offices and vendors to align acquisition and modernization efforts
  • Assist in conducting market research, evaluating commercial solutions, and supporting vendor engagements, site visits, and demos
  • Assist in developing POM and budget submissions, including forecasting, fiscal planning tools, metrics, and cost estimates
  • Support executive‑level communications by preparing briefings, after‑action reports, decision papers, and key leader engagement materials
  • Assist in tracking CONUS/OCONUS site visits and ensuring all readiness requirements are met
  • Contribute to funding strategy analysis
  • Assist with data calls, budget exercises, and capability gap assessments; provide actionable recommendations to leadership
  • Assist in interpreting high-level guidance to inform strategic investment priorities
  • Use business intelligence tools, such as Excel dashboards and PowerPoint, to assist in monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Performs travel and driving duties as necessary to support operational and contractual requirements
  • Assist with preparing and presenting reports, briefings, and recommendations
