Serving a diverse community of 850,000 residents in North West Toronto, we prioritize Equity, Inclusivity, and active participation in the North West Toronto Ontario Health Team. Our approach makes technology work for staff and physicians, allowing more time for patient care, reducing inefficiencies, and minimizing errors. We are formally affiliated with the University of Toronto and Queen’s University, aiming to become a community academic hospital. Our Research Strategy is framed by Clinical Excellence, Optimizing Care through Technology, and Community Connection. We are actively creating a renaissance in healthcare and invite you to lead the way on our journey towards high reliability care. The Resource Person (RP) holds primary day-to-day responsibility for patient care, ensuring the safety and quality of the experience for both patients and staff, and managing patient flow outcomes within the care area. The RP provides clinical leadership in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, adhering to the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Professional Practice, the Regulated Health Profession Act, and the Mission, Vision, and Values of Humber River Health. Within this role, the RP contributes to the Humber River Strategy and actively promotes and supports patient- and family-centred engagement and care.
