About The Position

This role provides direction and supervision to RNs, LPNs, Techs, Clerks, Nursing Assistants, and/or other categories as needed. The Resource Nurse Clinician works collaboratively and effectively with all members of the Patient Care Team. They support the Mission, Vision, and Values of Munson Healthcare, embracing the Performance Improvement philosophy and promoting personal and patient safety. A basic understanding of Relationship-Based Care (RBC) principles is expected, along with meeting expectations outlined in Commitment To My Co-workers and supporting RBC unit action plans. Effective customer service and interpersonal skills are required at all times.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse licensure within the State of Michigan.
BSN required; MSN strongly encouraged. A candidate may be considered if within one semester of completing BSN degree.
Requires five years of nursing experience.
Demonstrates ability in using the computer with Windows format preferred.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the clinical area in which application has been made is desirable.
Encouraged to obtain certification in specialty area of practice.
Is a self-directed professional who is able to function autonomously in a leadership role to assist and support staff nurses in decision-making and problem-solving clinical issues related to the delivery of nursing care.
