About The Position

At Capgemini Invent, we believe difference drives change. As inventive transformation consultants, we blend our strategic, creative and scientific capabilities, collaborating closely with clients to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Join us to drive transformation tailored to our client's challenges of today and tomorrow. Informed and validated by science and data. Superpowered by creativity and design. All underpinned by technology created with purpose. About the Role We're looking for a dynamic, strategic Resource Manager to join our Resource & Capacity Management team, supporting staffing for our Intelligent Industry practice. Resource Management sits at the center of how Invent NA operates — partnering closely with Internal Functions teams (Sales, Operations, Recruitment, HR) and leadership to ensure the right people are staffed on the right work at the right time. This is a role for someone who wants to operate as a true strategic partner to the business — a trusted advisor who understands our people, anticipates the practice's needs, and helps shape smarter workforce decisions. It's a hands-on, high-visibility role with regular exposure to senior leadership. The ideal candidate is proactive, builds strong relationships across the practices they support, thinks strategically, and is an effective problem solver.

Requirements

  • Prior Resource Management experience at a management consulting firm strongly preferred
  • The ability to act as a strategic partner and advisor to the business — someone who builds trust and influence at every level of the organization
  • An analytical mindset — comfortable using data and tools to surface insights and drive decisions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and confidently face off with senior executives
  • Meticulous attention to detail balanced against awareness of the broader context
  • An agile, curious, fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building AI solutions or automated workflows
  • Experience or working knowledge of Supply Chain and/or Digital Engineering
  • Experience in HR, Career Development, Operations, or Workforce Planning/Capacity Management

Responsibilities

  • Own staffing for the Intelligent Industry practice, matching people to projects based on skills, development goals, and business need — developing a strong understanding of the work being sold and what it takes to deliver it
  • Build genuine relationships with practice leads and staff — know your people well enough to advise on their growth, not just their next assignment
  • Proactively flag staffing risks, bench trends, and capacity
  • Analyze staffing, bench, and ARVE data — turning complex inputs into clear insights that influence action
  • Partner with practice leadership as a trusted advisor, bringing data-driven recommendations rather than reactive fixes
  • Contribute to process improvement and RM excellence initiatives across the broader team, ideally by championing the use of AI and automation

Benefits

  • Paid time off based on employee grade (A-F), defined by policy: Vacation: 12-25 days, depending on grade
  • Company paid holidays
  • Personal Days
  • Sick Leave
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage (or provincial healthcare coordination in Canada)
  • Retirement savings plans (e.g., 401(k) in the U.S., RRSP in Canada)
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Employee assistance programs
  • Other benefits as provided by local policy and eligibility
