About The Position

The Resource Manager is a strategic workforce planner who keeps our team properly scaled and agile as customer and operational demands evolve. You will serve as the central point of coordination across the hiring and onboarding lifecycle, forecasting staffing needs, building processes to track pipeline activity, and standing up streamlined procedures that get new resources productive quickly. You will be liaising between Operations, Talent Acquisition, Security, Training, and Human Resources, driving timely hiring decisions that align with government contract requirements. Reston, VA is the preferred location for this position. 25% travel required.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret eligible clearance; Active federal background investigation with a favorable T5 adjudication is preferred.
  • 5 years work experience in workforce planning, building processes, and hosting meetings with multiple stakeholders across departments.with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA
  • Meeting Facilitation & Alignment. Ability to facilitate meetings, maintain alignment across departments, and escalate blockers appropriately.
  • Analytical Insight. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret staffing metrics and make data driven recommendations.
  • Candidate Assessment. Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Influence & Relationship Building. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence leaders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Organization. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Cross Functional Communication. Translates fluently between Operations, Talent Acquisition, Security, Training, and HR audiences; keeps every stakeholder aligned and informed.
  • Analytical Thinking. Turns pipeline, workforce, and requisition data into clear insight and defensible recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner across departments. Work closely with Operations, Talent Acquisition, Security, Training, and HR business leaders to understand current and future resourcing needs and translate them into actionable staffing plans.
  • Own the pipeline. Maintain master pipeline and requisition documentation, refresh job postings, and keep workforce tracking accurate and current.
  • Drive hiring decisions. Evaluate talent pipelines, facilitate staffing discussions, and move candidates through the process on the timelines contracts demand.
  • Lead onboarding. Oversee the full onboarding lifecycle, guiding new hires through their transition into Personnel Vetting and Background Investigation roles.
  • Build the process. Design and improve procedures that make pipeline updates, cross functional handoffs, and new hire ramp up faster and more reliable.
