Penny Lane Centers is committed to equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging within our organization by connecting our heart, our knowledge, and our understanding of the lived experience of others, to have a revolutionary impact on the marginalized communities we serve. The Resource Family Partner (RFP) assists relatives and Non Extended Related Family (NREF) Caregivers in the assessment process for Resource Family Approval. The RFP main responsibility is to be the lead in the approval process for each family assigned to them, with a caseload ranging from 15 – 20 families. In providing these services directly to the family, the RFP is frequently assessing, supporting, and engaging each family. The RFP develops and coordinates the plan to meet the approval requirements as outlined in the written directives based on their assessment of the needs and strengths of each family. The RFP implements this plan in collaboration with the County RFA worker, family, and other involved parties. The RFP is an independent employee who can multi-task. The RFP understands the impact of trauma and can provide empathetic and professional services to families. The RFP follows all Penny Lane Centers policies and procedures regarding the Heart Centered Culture, cultural sensitivity and cultural awareness. The RFP supports the agency mission and vision in their interaction with children, youth, families, and partner agencies.
