The Environmental Services Resource Coordinator reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. This role is responsible for establishing and reviewing standards and work procedures for all Environmental Services staff, planning work schedules, and assisting the Manager in the supervision of various aspects of the departments. The coordinator also participates in the interview process, orients, trains, and supervises Environmental Services staff, inspects and evaluates the physical condition of the facility, and supervises the relocation and storage of furnishings and equipment. Additionally, the role involves reporting unsafe conditions, conducting research to improve EVS technology, participating in staff meetings, communicating with other departments, and potentially serving on facility-wide committees. Daily touch points and coaching with EVS staff are conducted, along with scheduling major project work and ensuring adequate staff and supplies. The role also includes ordering supplies and equipment using Peoplesoft requisitions and conducting regular inventory of housekeeping supplies while keeping costs in line with approved budgetary amounts.
