About The Position

RIP RESOURCE CONSULTANT Job Details: Job Location: Cleveland - Hiwassee Mental Health Center - Cleveland, TN, Education Level: 4 Year Degree, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Agrees to follow all applicable laws and regulations, including VBHCS Standards of Conduct and VBHCS Policies and Procedures, in order to create and maintain a healthcare and business environment that is committee to integrity and ethical conduct. Pre-Service training for professional staff shall take place at the RIP Nashville facility in Nashville. Successful completion of twenty-four (24) training days is required for new RIP staff before commencement of the local RIP Program operation. Training times and requirements should be discussed with the state technical assistance staff at the RIP Nashville facility. Limited waivers to allow current Coordinator to train staff may be granted.

Requirements

  • Agrees to follow all applicable laws and regulations, including VBHCS Standards of Conduct and VBHCS Policies and Procedures, in order to create and maintain a healthcare and business environment that is committee to integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working with preschool children and/or families.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred in Special Education Psychology, Social Work, Child Development or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Some training and supervisory experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Case management for assigned families.
  • Liaison service provider and childcare school intervention provider for assigned families.
  • Training, administrative activities, evaluation and program development for RIP program.
  • Working directly with children and families in the program to ensure that treatment objectives, evaluations and treatment summaries are individualized and accurate.
  • Meeting with members of treatment team to discuss plans and individualized treatment modalities.
  • Working with other RIP staff to develop appropriate treatment activities.
  • Implementation and/or supervision of data collection and analysis.
  • Intake interviews.
  • Community information activities.
  • Coordinating with state Technical Assistance Coordinator.
  • Data submission and record keeping in absence of program coordinator
  • Other duties as assigned.
